Last night, the Minnesota Vikings go to Dallas and essentially knock them out of the playoffs, a bit of a surprise. 34 to 26, the final is JJ McCarthy finally starting to show some worth in this one, albeit against the Cowboys' defense. Vinny, what's the takeaway from this? Certainly, Minnesota's looking toward next year. Uh, for Dallas, I, I wouldn't say they overachieved thus far, but I don't think anybody really thought they had a chance to catch the Eagles now that's officially put away. Yeah, with the Vikings, they're playing for next year. They want to see what JJ McCarthy has to see if he deserves another season as a starting quarterback, and he's strung together a couple of decent games in a row. And, look, it was tough. I mean, he was coming back, he was essentially a rookie. He still hasn't gotten Justin Jefferson going. I mean, he had a quiet game again. But when the Vikings won, they had nothing to play for, they were eliminated before this game kicked off. So you had to be pleased if you're Kevin O'Connell to go in there. And play well, where the Cowboys typically have been great at home in Dallas. So, it's a good sign for them that they're showing some fight. We're seeing a few teams like that, the Saints, the Commanders, teams that are out of it, that are kind of just playing hard in every game and hard to know what you're going to get from them. But definitely you would put the Vikings in that category. The Cowboys look They had their chances. They've had multiple opportunities to get back into this, the Eagles kind of sputtering, now it's over. You have to assess the defensive issues that you have left here. Hopefully, Quinnin Williams and some of these other guys that they have next year will lead to a much improved, you know, that side of the ball, because we know that was holding them back. And if they didn't score at will in a game, you know, they were gonna lose like this.
