Uh, the Lions and the Rams went out there and played a game. It's, it's very funny to me. This has happened a couple of times with these high totals, and the books are just dead to rights. This happened with the Rams. It's, it's, it's all Lions game. So Rams Lions yesterday, 54.5, just smashed the number. Dallas Dallas game smashed the number, and I tried it, and I, and I, I swear I thought I had a chance, uh, when they played the Ravens early season and, and just flying through these totals at the end of the day. I'm just curious because, you know, again yesterday, obviously, you know, with the snow and everything, were you, what were you on in this game? I was, uh, props wise I killed. I had Jamison Williams over 80 and 90. I had, I, I bought in Saint Brown at halftime for 150. He landed at 162. Um, I had Williams anytime touchdown, but I lost. I lost with the lines. I had the lines on the spread, so I had the 5.5. I, I, I actually was on, I had a parlay that didn't pull out, but I had Jared Goff for 275 and 2. So I, I, I thought, I thought golf, I thought it's good, yeah, but the other side didn't, what I'm saying is like I thought golf playing against the Rams would be the guy. I, I didn't want to keep Stafford or any of the Rams. I wanted a key all Detroit guys. I really thought they posed a problem and they stepped up in the first half, had a, a 10 point lead. But then, then again, all of a sudden that you go through a lull, right, and, and you give up a couple of touchdowns, and now all of a sudden you're in it. It's like they were shell shocked. And then, and then it's just like they get out of their game plan and defensively, here's the deal. Offensively Detroit could score with anybody, anybody. Their defense is terrible. That's, that I know it's injured, but we have to call it what it is. That defense in the secondary could be torched by anybody. Dallas, so you, you name any of the NFC teams, they could be abused by anybody. So, and that's the problem. Brady said something on the broadcast that I hadn't thought about, um, about how the Rams are tough to beat in LA. Because it's a dome, so the conditions are perfect, and they, they're just so precise. And what I, I hadn't thought about that just because I feel like, especially with the way the NFC is, when you think about home-field advantage, you think about teams like Philly and Green Bay and Chicago who can bring you into their hellhole, right? But basically, the Rams, you know, be like, let's just level this out. Everything's clean. And that's, So to your point about Detroit, for Detroit, and, and look, I know they don't project to get a home playoff game. My point is just like, They're kind of In a bad spot anywhere they are. Because if everything, if, if the weather's normal, their defense is gonna get torched cause it's so injured and it's just getting torched. And if it's outside, no one trusts, no one trusts this offense in a cold weather environment. So they're, they're in this just such a difficult spot when they play the elites, right? The Lions are going through what Green Bay went through last year. Green Bay couldn't beat the elites. The Lions were swept by the Packers, got smashed in Kansas City, lost to Philadelphia. The Rams just rolled them. I mean, it, it's, it's what we're seeing here and It makes Detroit a hard team to, to really buy into. On the Rams side of it though, Joe, I. It's very interesting. I, I. Calling them the best team in football more than fine, I would agree. I still push back on this idea that they are in a class of their own. They're down 10 in their own building. The, the, like you said, the Lions are throwing lasers all over. That's what I'm saying. Like I to Carolina is a 10.5 point favorite. Again. The Rams are incredible at smashing teams. I get the offenses rolling. I do think Stafford's gonna win MVP. I now, well, I think, I think the. The Thursday game's gonna, he could clinch it on Thursday is what I would say against Seattle. But I just, I still push back on the gap. That's my only thing. I don't, I do not think they are unbeatable. I, now. They're, they're probably gonna be favored in any game they play. No matter what, at home, what would you make them over, uh, Philly. What I think they would make it is about 4.5. I think they'd make it 3. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll say, the books actually like the Eagles this year more than I think people realize. The Eagles' numbers have been pretty strong for, I mean, people were stunned Philly was laying as much as they were laying to the Raiders. Like people were surprised by that, but outdoor game subfreezing I'm saying, yeah, no, you're just, no, but, but I'm, but, but people thought that that was a big spread, and I mean, look, the Eagles just rolled him, rocked him, no problem kind of situation. So I look, I, I'm not taking away from McVeigh. I'm not taking away from Stafford, and, and that defense in with, you know, Jared verse in his second year doing fantastic things. I'm not, I'm not, but As good as they are, you saw what speed can do to that secondary. You saw Saint Brown abuse them. You saw Jamison William take the top, something that no other team really exploited them early. I mean, I mean, the Eagles did in the second half, but my point is, when you have talent on the outside, they're gonna be in a game. That, that's why I don't give the edge to Green Bay. If they had to play the Rams. They get smashed, I think.
