Spencer Jones – Power Surge in Somerset
Spencer Jones made his presence felt with a monster week for Double-A Somerset. The New York Yankees' 2022 first-round pick slugged three homers, tallied 10 hits, and reached base at a .607 clip.
His 1.559 OPS shows just how complete his week was, and his progress this season could earn him a Triple-A bump soon. With light-tower power and improving contact, Jones is making a compelling case to climb the ladder.

Chase DeLauter – Guardian on the Rise
The Cleveland Guardians' former first-rounder is heating up at just the right time. Chase DeLauter reminded everyone of his top-40 prospect pedigree with a five-game stretch that featured a .412 average, two home runs, and a 1.300 OPS for Columbus.
Facing a strong Indianapolis pitching staff, DeLauter looked every bit the future big leaguer scouts envisioned. Back healthy and back in rhythm, the lefty outfielder is one hot week away from putting pressure on Cleveland’s front office.

Tobias Myers – Making Noise in Nashville
After a rocky start to 2025, Tobias Myers might be pitching his way back to the Milwaukee Brewers. The right-hander fired 11 scoreless innings across two starts for Triple-A Nashville last week, striking out 10 and walking just 2.
With the Brewers’ rotation in flux, Myers’ 0.00 ERA for the week could be just the spark to put him back on the MLB radar. He’s already shown he can hold his own in the bigs (3.00 ERA in 138 IP last year)—this might be his ticket back.

Jonah Tong – Double-A Dominator
Jonah Tong might just be the breakout arm of the MiLB season. The New York Mets’ No. 69 prospect racked up 11 strikeouts in 7.2 innings last week against Harrisburg, giving up just one walk in a dominant start.
He became the first minor league pitcher to eclipse 100 strikeouts this season and continues to impress with his swing-and-miss stuff. Triple-A Syracuse could be calling sooner rather than later.

Hector Rodriguez – Hitting Machine in Chattanooga
The Southern League had no answer for Hector Rodriguez last week. The 20-year-old Reds outfielder exploded for 17 hits in 30 at-bats (.567 AVG), adding three home runs and a 1.639 OPS over seven games.
Once a throw-in prospect in a 2022 deal, Rodriguez now looks like a future big-league contributor. If he keeps squaring up balls at this rate, the Cincinnati Reds might need to find him a spot on their top prospect list—and maybe their 2025 roster.
José Fermín – Hitting Like a Man on a Mission
José Fermín was an absolute force at the plate last week. The St. Louis Cardinals’ infielder mashed to the tune of a .550 average, two bombs, and a 1.633 OPS over five games for Triple-A Memphis.
His .583 OBP and nine RBI tell the story of a hitter locked in. Fermín is batting well above league average this year (147 wRC+), and if he continues to hit like this, he may force his way back into St. Louis' infield picture sooner than expected.
