Bronze Medal Hitter of the Month: Ronald Acuña Jr., Atlanta Braves
June Stats: 112 PA, 6 HR, 26 R, 12 RBI, .360/.491/.596, 4 SB, 202 wRC+, 1.6 fWAR
After a frustrating start to 2025, Ronald Acuña Jr. reminded the baseball world exactly who he is. The Braves superstar reached base at a .491 clip in June and crossed the plate 26 times in 26 games — more than any other NL hitter.
He piled up 1.6 fWAR for the month, bringing his season total back in line with his MVP pace. If this version of Acuña sticks around, Atlanta’s lineup is about to get scary down the stretch.

Gold Medal Pitcher of the Month: Zack Wheeler, Philadelphia Phillies
June Stats: 2-1 (5 GS), 0.58 ERA, 31 IP, 42 K, 7 BB, 1.4 fWAR
Zack Wheeler made one thing clear in June — the NL Cy Young race runs through him. The Philadelphia Phillies ace was nearly untouchable, surrendering just two earned runs all month while fanning 42 hitters over 31 innings. He topped the Senior Circuit in strikeouts and K-BB% and dominated Statcast’s xERA leaderboards.
He punctuated June with a masterclass: eight shutout frames and 10 punchouts against the Padres. On top of that, Wheeler dropped the bombshell that he plans to retire after his current deal — but judging by how he’s pitching, the farewell tour won’t be easy for opposing lineups.

Gold Medal Hitter of the Month: Juan Soto, New York Mets
June Stats: 116 PA, 11 HR, 25 R, 20 RBI, .322/.474/.722, 2 SB, 227 wRC+, 1.7 fWAR
So much for worrying about Juan Soto’s slow May. The New York Mets slugger silenced every critic with one of the best months of his career, topping the NL with a monstrous 227 wRC+ — the highest single-month mark he’s ever posted.
Soto mashed 11 home runs, drew 25 walks, and racked up 1.7 fWAR in just 26 games. His full-season wRC+ now sits at 153, reminding everyone exactly why he got that massive payday.

Silver Medal Pitcher of the Month: Ranger Suárez, Philadelphia Phillies
June Stats: 3-2 (6 GS), 1.30 ERA, 41.2 IP, 36 K, 7 BB, 1.1 fWAR
Ranger Suárez quietly pieced together one of the NL’s steadiest stretches, turning in a quality start every time out. He went seven-plus innings in five of six June outings, and only once allowed multiple earned runs. No National League arm logged more innings, and his 1.31 WPA topped the board.
For a guy who missed the first month of the season, Suárez is making up ground fast — and his timing couldn’t be better in a contract year with free agency looming this winter.

Silver Medal Hitter of the Month: Eugenio Suárez, Arizona Diamondbacks
June Stats: 99 PA, 11 HR, 13 R, 27 RBI, .315/.354/.728, 0 SB, 193 wRC+, 1.3 fWAR
Eugenio Suárez turned back the clock and turned up the power. The Arizona Diamondbacks veteran third baseman slugged his way to 11 homers and 27 RBIs in June, pacing the league in Win Probability Added (1.80) while making the most of fewer than 100 plate appearances.
Even a hand injury couldn’t derail his hot streak — and in a contract year, Suárez is setting himself up for one more big payday.
Bronze Medal Pitcher of the Month: Cristopher Sánchez, Philadelphia Phillies
June Stats: 2-1 (5 GS), 1.85 ERA, 34 IP, 33 K, 6 BB, 1.2 fWAR
It’s a full Philadelphia Phillies sweep on the mound — Cristopher Sánchez delivered an underrated but crucial month to keep Philly’s rotation rolling. He finished top four in ERA, second in fWAR, and near the top of every advanced metric you’d want from a breakout lefty.
Sánchez’s heavy sinker and groundball wizardry were on full display, punctuated by an eight-inning, one-run gem against the Miami Marlins and a career-high 11-strikeout performance against the Houston Astros to close out the month.
Bronze Medal Hitter of the Month: Ronald Acuña Jr., Atlanta Braves
June Stats: 112 PA, 6 HR, 26 R, 12 RBI, .360/.491/.596, 4 SB, 202 wRC+, 1.6 fWAR
