Isaiah Drake (OF) – Low-A Augusta
After a rough 2024, Isaiah Drake has bounced back as one of the most exciting athletes in the system. The 2023 fifth-rounder has slashed .251/.340/.367 with improved strikeout discipline and is now among the top 20 teenage hitters in Low-A by OPS and wRC+. The younger brother of NFL RB Kenyan Drake, Isaiah, blends blazing speed with raw upside. Drake’s tools could carry him to the big leagues if his bat continues progressing.

Didier Fuentes (RHP) – Triple-A Gwinnett (MLB)
At just 20 years old, Didier Fuentes has rocketed through the Braves’ system, reaching Triple-A and joining elite company alongside Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies as one of the youngest players in Gwinnett history. After a challenging 2023, Fuentes posted a breakout 2024 season and hasn’t looked back. With a 95.7 mph fastball, pinpoint command, and a developing change-up/sinker combo, Fuentes owns a 2.74 ERA and 32.1% strikeout rate. His Triple-A debut was stellar, so much so that Atlanta gave Fuentes the call to the big club.

JR Ritchie (RHP) – Double-A Columbus
A former 35th overall pick in 2022, JR Ritchie has finally returned to form following Tommy John surgery. The Braves' No. 10 prospect, Ritchie impressed with a 1.30 ERA in High-A and continued to shine in Double-A. He doesn’t overpower hitters, but his command of three pitches makes him a rotation-caliber arm. With a 2.90 ERA and 27.3% strikeout rate in his return from injury, Ritchie is proving he’s more than just a high school projection — he’s a legitimate big-league hopeful.

Luke Sinnard (RHP) – High-A Rome
The 6'8" righty with deceptive stuff, Luke Sinnard, was a third-round pick in 2024 and has opened eyes in his first year post-Tommy John. After dominating Low-A with a 0.92 ERA and 33.3% strikeout rate, he was quickly promoted to High-A. While his fastball doesn’t light up radar guns, its spin rate and vertical break play up significantly. If Sinnard continues to build innings and refine his secondary pitches, he projects as a solid mid-rotation starter with real upside.

Owen Carey (OF) – Low-A Augusta
Drafted in the 15th round and signed away from Rutgers, Owen Carey has emerged as a major developmental win for Atlanta. The 18-year-old is slashing .283/.354/.384 with a .738 OPS and a 117 wRC+ in his debut season, showcasing elite bat-to-ball skills and strike zone awareness. With a low strikeout rate (15.2%) and mature plate discipline, Carey has already positioned himself as a foundational piece in Augusta’s youth-driven lineup — and possibly more.
John Gil (SS) – Low-A Augusta
Signed out of the Dominican Republic in 2023, John Gil might be the most under-the-radar gem in Atlanta’s system. At just 18, the switch-hitting shortstop has posted a .663 OPS and 101 wRC+ in Low-A. Known for his plate discipline (13.9% BB rate) and speed (95 career steals), Gil doesn’t need to hit for power to profile as a valuable contributor. With shortstop depth still a question in Atlanta long-term, Gil is on a trajectory to fill a potential future void.
Diego Tornes (OF) – Dominican Summer League
Atlanta’s top international signee in 2025, Diego Tornes, is already turning heads in the DSL. Just 16 years old, Tornes is hitting .270/.357/.432 through nine games with a seven-game hit streak and advanced bat control. A 6’2” switch-hitter with projectable power and tools across the board, Tornes has the makings of a true five-tool threat. Though years away, he may ultimately solve Atlanta’s need for a long-term corner outfielder.
Isaiah Drake (OF) – Low-A Augusta
