Where to Watch Minnesota Twins vs. Toronto Blue Jays
- Ballpark: Rogers Centre
- Location: Toronto, ON
- Where to Watch: MNNT, Sportsnet
- Time: 7:07 p.m. ET
- Spread: TOR -1.5 (+126) | Total: 8.5
- Moneyline: MIN +138 | TOR -164
The Minnesota Twins are set for Game 2 with the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. Toeing the rubber, look out for righties Bailey Ober and Chris Bassitt.
Monday evening featured an offensive explosion for Toronto. The Blue Jays produced five runs after just two innings before eventually winning, 10-4. With the way they are hitting at home, I won’t be fading T.O. any time soon.
Ober has not been his best this season. Currently, he has a poor 5.10 FIP. Across the way, Bassitt is having a mediocre campaign behind a 1.34 WHIP.
Notably, overs have been the play when the Jays are at Rogers Centre. In 2025, Toronto boasts a 38-24-2 (61.3%) record for over supporters. At this juncture in the season, that is a level of prowess that cannot be ignored.
More specifically, the Blue Jays showcase a .793 OPS when playing in Canada. From there, they have smashed 85 home runs in 64 contests at Rogers Centre this year (compared to 71 HR in 68 road games). Until proven otherwise, I am banking on runs in Toronto home games; give me over 8.5.
Best Bet: Over 8.5 (-110)
Where to Watch Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Mets
- Ballpark: Citi Field
- Location: Queens, NY
- Where to Watch: NBCSP, SNY, TBS
- Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
- Spread: PHI -1.5 (-150) | Total: 8.5 (-102/-120)
- Moneyline: PHI -108 | NYM -108
Tuesday features a contentious NL East clash between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets. The projected starters in the Big Apple are southpaws Jesus Luzardo and Sean Manaea.
The Phillies presently hold a six-game lead over the Amazin’ Mets, but that did not stop New York from clobbering their rival from down south on Monday night. The Metropolitans won 13-3 and managed to score in every inning after the third.
Making his eighth start of the season, Manaea is operating with a 1.12 WHIP and 3.94 FIP. Meanwhile, Luzardo had done well in 2025 behind a 1.30 WHIP and 3.47 xERA.
With the odds priced as they are, I like the home-side Mets in this divisional pick ’em. As noted, New York has been thriving at the plate. Over the Mets’ past seven games, they are slashing .305/.393/.563 as a team; those are numbers worth supporting.
ESPN Analytics gives New York a 53.3% chance at victory tonight in Queens. Additionally, the Mets are 42-24 when playing at Citi Field in 2025. I’ll take them to defeat Philly for a second straight night.
Best Bet: Mets ML (-108)
