There is no stopping us now. The MLB season is back underway after the All-Star break, meaning there are betting opportunities every day between now and October. We’ve got you covered for today’s action, highlighting our top three picks in our Monday parlay!

Where to Watch New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays

  • Where to Watch: SNY, SNET

  • Spread: NYY -1.5 | Total: 8.5

The AL East is turning into a bloodbath. The New York Yankees currently trail the Toronto Blue Jays by 3.0 games, with the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays lurking close behind. The Yankees can use this three-game set to level the division playing field, but we expect the Jays to bolster their advantage in the series opener.

Carlos Rodon has been one of the few bright spots in the Yankees’ rotation recently. Still, the Blue Jays should have no problem getting to the southpaw. Toronto has a .401 slugging percentage versus lefties, contributing to a .736 OPS. Further, Rodon remains above his expected ERA, implying that another six-run outing could be on the horizon for the Yankees’ ace.

At the same time, Kevin Gausman has started to round into shape. The deceptive righty has given up seven earned runs across his last 23.2 innings pitched. Still, his season-long ERA remains above expected, implying further correction is anticipated.

The Jays are undeserving underdogs at home. Toronto has won 10 in a row at the Rogers Centre, and they should be able to get a franchise record 11th versus the Yankees. Blue Jays moneyline is the play.

Best Bet: Blue Jays +102

Where to Watch St. Louis Cardinals vs. Colorado Rockies

  • Ballpark: Coors Field
  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Where to Watch: FDSMW, COLR
  • Time: 8:40 p.m. ET
  • Spread: STL -1.5 | Total: 11.5
  • Moneyline: STL -154 | COL +130

With a laughable 24 wins on the season, bettors have to be choosy about when they back the Colorado Rockies. But Monday’s tilt versus the St. Louis Cardinals could be one of those profitable positions.

The Rockies’ offense has come to life after the All-Star break. This past weekend, Colorado put up 17 runs while taking two of three from the Minnesota Twins. Over that modest stretch, the Rox compiled a .949 OPS, thanks to their six home runs and 16 extra-base hits.

It also helps that the Cardinals are one of the worst-hitting teams against southpaws. St. Louis has the ninth-worst OPS and the third-most strikeouts versus lefties, bolstering Austin Gomber‘s outlook in the series opener.

Even in the hitter-friendly confines of Coors Field, there’s nothing the Cardinals’ bats can do to keep pace with the Rockies right now. We’re adding another value play to our parlay and backing the hosts in this National League showdown.

Best Bet: Rockies +130

Where to Watch Milwaukee Brewers vs. Seattle Mariners

  • Ballpark: T-Mobile Park
  • Location: Seattle, WA
  • Where to Watch: FDSWI, Root Sports NW
  • Time: 9:40 p.m. ET
  • Spread: SEA -1.5 | Total: 7
  • Moneyline: SEA -122 | MIL +104

The Seattle Mariners are coming off a momentum-building series win versus the Houston Astros. They are hoping to continue their assault on the Milwaukee Brewers

The Mariners’ offensive floodgates opened up this weekend, with the playoff hopefuls driving in 16 runs across the three-game set. More importantly, they are poised to sustain their current pace against an untested Brandon Woodruff. The Brewers’ two-time All-Star missed the first half of the season and has only made two starts since returning. Those appearances came against the lowly Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals, which appears to be an intentional step in building Woodruff back up.

Unfortunately, regression appears inevitable versus Seattle. His velocity is way down, with Woodruff’s four-seamer dropping 3.0 mph. Additionally, his sweeper and newfound cutter are meatballs flying across the plate. Those pitches are generating expected slugging percentages of .813 and 1.798, respectively.

With the Mariners starting to figure things out at the plate, Woodruff is primed for an ineffective showing. Either he leans too far into his four-seamer and the M’s time him up, or he continues to float his lesser-than offerings over the plate, and they take advantage. Either way, we predict the Mariners walk away with a convincing win.

Best Bet: Mariners -122
