Dodgers vs. Giants Same Game Parlay: Sunday, July 13

The unofficial first half of the 2025 MLB season draws to a close on Sunday, and the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants take center stage in the afternoon contests. These NL West foes split the first two games of the series, setting up today’s tilt as the rubber match. Both teams have studs on the bump, amplifying the stakes in this intra-divisional battle.

Check out which bets we are targeting in our Same Game Parlay!

Where to Watch Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants

  • Ballpark: Oracle Park
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Where to Watch: NBCS-BA, SportsNet LA, MLBN
  • Time: 4:05 p.m. ET
  • Spread: LAD -1.5 | Total: 7.5
  • Moneyline: LAD -142 | SF +120

Leg 1: Under 7.5 -110

Two of the best in the NL West take to the mound for today’s deciding contest at Oracle Park. The Giants have tabbed Robbie Ray as the starter in today’s series finale, while LA counters with Cy Young candidate Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Assuredly, runs will be at a premium in this one.

Robbie Ray has quietly rounded back into Cy Young form. The southpaw is dealing with a 2.63 ERA and 1.10 WHIP, with some equally impressive underlying metrics. Specifically, Ray ranks among the top 24% of pitchers in strikeout rate, expected weighted on-base average, and expected ERA, pointing toward sustainable results throughout the latter stages of the campaign.

Likewise, Yamamoto has been the ace many thought he would be when he came over in 2024. The hard-throwing righty is striking out 27.9% of the batters he’s facing, contributing to his 2.77 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. Moreover, Yamamoto’s 53.9% groundball rate is sure to play well at Oracle Park.

With these two aces on the bump, it’s tough to envision this one going over the total. We’re taking a stance on under 7.5 on Sunday afternoon.

Leg 2: Yoshibobu Yamamoto to Record 8+ Strikeouts +330

We’re digging into another Yamamoto prop for our Same Game Parlay. The Dodgers ace is coming off his worst appearance in the majors, but the contrarian angle should have him back with another monster performance in the series finale.

Yamamoto was shelled for five runs on four hits and two walks in just 0.2 innings pitched last time out. Still, he should start finding his way back toward career norms in short order.

In the three starts prior, Yamamoto had allowed just four earned runs across 18.1 innings pitched. He allowed just 11 hits and 13 baserunners over that stretch. At the same time, he punched out 19 batters, including eight in his only other July start.

Yamamoto is a flamethrower, but he has five other pitches he mixes in to keep batters guessing. Altogether, he induces a 20.0% whiff rate or higher on four of his offerings, which will be troublesome for a Giants team that has the third-most strikeouts (120) and a 27.8% strikeout rate over the past two weeks. Getting to eight Ks could be short work for Yamamoto. At +330, that’s a bet worth making.

Leg 3: Willy Adames to Hit a Double +450

We’re rounding out our Same Game Parlay while tapping into one of the hottest hitters in baseball. Willy Adames has been raking, and we like his chances of hitting a double in the series finale versus the Dodgers.

Since the start of July, Adames has been on another level. The Giants’ shortstop is slugging .692 in 45 at-bats, contributing to a 1.114 OPS. Over that 11-game sample, Adames has 13 hits, three doubles, and seven extra-base hits.

More importantly, Adames’ ascent is projected to continue beyond today’s contest. He remains over 60 points below his expected slugging percentage, with a 12.9% barrel rate and 45.4% hard-hit rate. Those metrics align with his current trajectory, implying that ongoing correction is anticipated.

While Yoshinobu Yamamoto can deal, he has been prone to solid contact and gives up a 41.2% hard-hit rate. Willy Adames can take advantage and continue his torrid pace. We’re betting he laces a double in this one.

Dodgers vs. Giants Same Game Parlay Picks

  • Under 7.5 -110
  • Yoshinobu Yamamoto to Record 8+ Strikeouts +330
  • Willy Adames to Record a Double +450

There are some contrarian angles in these plays, maximizing value in our Same Game Parlay. If the game stays under, with Yamamoto recording eight or more strikeouts and Willy Adames hitting a double, bettors will return +4017 on this parlay.
